  • The Hydrocolloid dressing being a family of wound management products contains gel forming agents like carboxymethylecellulose sodium etc. They are combined with elastomers and adhesives over a sheet of polyurethane film to form an absorbent, self-adhesive water proof dressing. In the presence of wound exudates the adhesive mass absorb the liquid and forms a gel, the properties of which are determined by the nature of the formulation, some dressing form a cohesive gel. which is largely contained within the adhesive matrix; other form more mobile, less viscous gels which are not retained within the dressing structure.

  • It is adaptable to different phases of wounds, especially heavy exudated wounds. Hi degree burns.
  • Pressure ulcers, Non-healing ulcers. Skin donor site wounds.
  • Silver ion discharge is directly proportional to exudate, therefore more the exudate, more discharging of Silver ions.
  • Diabetic Wound.

  • Assess, debride and clean the wound.
  • Treat with medication if infected
  • Apply the Paseca Hydrocolloid dressing over the entire wound.
  • Secure primary dressing as per the condition of the wound and soakage-normally once in three days.

  • Dressing pack can be stored at normal room temperature.
